Will Zac die in a shock fall?

Just when we thought Home and away couldn't make Zac have an even worse 2017, it may just be the year he meets his untimely fate... It is rumoured that Zac will have a horror fall off the roof of a Summer Bay house which could leave his life hanging in the balance... Zac has already had a hellish few months as he cheated on his wife Leah with his editor Sam and the worst is yet to come as Monday's episode will see him confess the truth and she is adamant that she will be unable to forgive him... Not only this but he will be left devastated when he realises that he is not the biological father of Hunter King. And with Zac expected to leave the soap this year, we would be lying if we said that we weren't worried about him. Especially considering he married Leah Patterson, who has had two previous husbands, both who have faced an untimely demise. Could Zac be next on the list? Of course, Zac doesn't necessarily 'fall' off the roof as he has (and will) make quite a few enemies in the Bay. Here are the people who might have a possible motive...

VJ Patterson
As if VJ doesn't have enough to worry about with baby Luc and the tragic death of his wife Billie, when the truth about Zac's one-night-stand, it will obviously devastate his mum Leah. Will the stress of being a parent and trying to protect his mother lead him to push Zac to his deadly fate?

Leah Patterson
Let's be honest, she has the most motive. Although Leah is a long serving character in the Bay, and wouldn't harm a fly, would she really allow her cheating husband get away with what he has done. She is also helping VJ look after Luc, so she is under a lot of stress. Could she take all her anger out on her cheating husband, and push him to his death?

Hunter King
Hunter is no stranger to violence, this was proven when he tried to kill Andy Barrett last year. With the truth that Zac isn't Hunter's biologic father, will Hunter assume that Zac knew all along? With Scott Lee bowing out of the role of Hunter later this year, wouldn't it be a possible ending to get him sent down for Zac's murder?

Wally Burns
Hunter's biological father is yet to be introduced but it is thought to be newcomer 'Wally Burns' We don't know anything about his character yet but he could be as nice and innocent as Marilyn Chambers or as evil and nasty as Ranae Turner. Could Wally become jealous of Hunter and Zac's relationship and decide to get him out of the way once and for all?

Sam Webster
Zac had a one-night-stand earlier this year with his editor Sam who had been trying to seduce him for months. With the truth about to come out in explosive fashion at Matt and Evie's wedding on Monday, will Zac decide to forget about Sam and try to win back Leah, only for Sam to take the ultimate revenge?

Marilyn Chambers
Because why not?

Home and away has been doing a storyline since February about who should get custody of Luc Ashford, following the tragic demise of Billie Ashford. Three people went for custody: VJ Patterson, who was Billie's husband, who Billie wanted to have custody of Luc. Billie's brother Ash and Irene Roberts. Can VJ save John from jail?

Monday night's episode will see John Palmer face court after starting the bushfire last December that led to the death of Billie Ashford. John was under the influence of a brain tumour and had no recollection of what he was doing, the tumour was successfully removed. Last month, we saw the return of Morag Bellingham, returning in the bay to defend John in court in the hope to spare him a jail sentence. He was previously urged to plead guilty and serve only two years or take the risk at the chance that he could be spared jail or go to jail for ten years! He decided to plead not guilty, much to the relief of his wife, Marilyn. However, the trial might not go as smoothly as they had hoped. The trial doesn't go that well at the start when Dr Bernice Chung takes the stand and protests that John fits the profile of a serial arsonist and is still a huge threat to the community.
