Home and away has revealed who got custody!

Home and away has been doing a storyline since February about who should get custody of Luc Ashford, following the tragic demise of Billie Ashford. Three people went for custody: VJ Patterson, who was Billie's husband, who Billie wanted to have custody of Luc. Billie's brother Ash and Irene Roberts. Last month, VJ shook Luc's cot and threw a mug across the room because he was very stressed. Everyone thought that VJ would get custody, given that Billie wanted him to, but there was no record of this. Irene wanted to go for custody, mainly because she didn't want Ash to get care of Luc. Irene kindly offered to look after Luc whilst VJ focused on his studies. And Ash wanted custody because he was worried about Luc's welfare after hearing that VJ shook the cot and Irene didn't notice that Luc was sick. It was a miracle that Ash and Kat Chapman managed to get a house on the day of the custody hearing. After a very tense custody meeting, they decided that it needed to go to court... Everyone was anxiously waiting for the phone call. And as they picked up the phone, VJ announced that the person who got custody was Ash! VJ and Leah said a heartbreaking goodbye to Luc, before Ash took her. Were you surprised that Ash got custody?
