Who will get custody of Luc?

Image result for home and away who will get custody of Luc?We still aren't over the tragic death of Billie Ashford but now her daughter Luc is going to be in the centre of a custody battle. Ever since Billie died, Luc has been in the care of VJ and Leah but recent scenes have seen VJ become increasingly stressed and even shook Luc's cot and hurled a cup across the room! Irene Roberts generously offered to help them out and said she would be happy to take Luc permanently. However, whilst VJ and Leah accepted her offer, Luc's uncle Ash had a problem with it. Last week saw Ash try to visit Luc but Irene said that he should probably text her before he comes over, this led to him calling her a 'control freak'. In scenes that will air on: 5th and 6th April 2017, Ash will try and get custody of her. Spoiler pictures emerged of Leah slapping Irene and Ash and Kat were pictured holding Luc, suggesting that they might end up getting custody. However, the process is bound to be difficult considering Ash's criminal record and the fact that his brother Patrick may be suffering from PTSD. Could Ash and Kat end up getting custody? Or will she stay with VJ and Leah? Or could a shock twist see Irene get guardianship of Luc?

Home and away has been doing a storyline since February about who should get custody of Luc Ashford, following the tragic demise of Billie Ashford. Three people went for custody: VJ Patterson, who was Billie's husband, who Billie wanted to have custody of Luc. Billie's brother Ash and Irene Roberts. Last month, VJ shook Luc's cot and threw a mug across the room because he was very stressed. Everyone thought that VJ would get custody, given that Billie wanted him to, but there was no record of this. Irene wanted to go for custody, mainly because she didn't want Ash to get care of Luc. Irene kindly offered to look after Luc whilst VJ focused on his studies. Can VJ save John from jail?

Monday night's episode will see John Palmer face court after starting the bushfire last December that led to the death of Billie Ashford. John was under the influence of a brain tumour and had no recollection of what he was doing, the tumour was successfully removed. Last month, we saw the return of Morag Bellingham, returning in the bay to defend John in court in the hope to spare him a jail sentence. He was previously urged to plead guilty and serve only two years or take the risk at the chance that he could be spared jail or go to jail for ten years! He decided to plead not guilty, much to the relief of his wife, Marilyn. However, the trial might not go as smoothly as they had hoped. The trial doesn't go that well at the start when Dr Bernice Chung takes the stand and protests that John fits the profile of a serial arsonist and is still a huge threat to the community.
